Immigration is only partly controlled. The whole of Europe has the right to live and work in the uk, use our nhs and receive welfare.

Technically you are correct, immigration into the UK is ot completely uncontrolled.
But neither is it controlled. The UK's visa and residency requirements are routinely flouted without consequences for the offenders. There is neither the appetite at government level nor the resources in the Home Office to tackle the problem of illegal immigration properly.
Australia has a properly controlled migration policy. We do not.

OK we have badly controlled immigration then. Anyone from the EU has free access to come and live in Britain; get free healthcare and benefits. People come in from all around the world and outstay their welcome also taking advantage of free healthcare and benefits once they have an established address. That's all you need and explains why so many AIDS and other horrible diseases are treated in UK.
Try going into a hospital in France and I know the first place you go into is the payment office that checks your right to treatment and ability to pay their bill before you get to see any medical staff...
Like that happens in UK?

You are proving my point Dapablo. We currently have uncontrolled immigration from EU and anyone that can get into Britain is rarely caught or sent home. That's why there are thousands of young men camped at Calais desperately trying to get into UK...

Seeing as no nation actually suffers from uncontrolled immigration it becomes plainly obvious anyone saying we do is either disingenuous or just a bigot who doesn't even understand what is going on.
Bigots just want someone to hate and people who are different are easy targets for it, they don't need any other reason, if required they'll just make up a load of rubbish to suit like "uncontrolled immigration".

I don't disagree with the concept that most immigrants are young men and therefore more likely to commit crime when their expectations aren't met Infidel. They are also the ones most likely to commit terror crimes.
But knowing that why do our politicians continue to give in to the pressure to let them into UK? It is not fair to the indigenous population who get branded as racists for questioning the current status of immigration.
We've all seen how the media treat Donald Trump for suggesting that restrictions should be placed on immigrant Muslims entering USA. OK Trump is a bit crazy but Farage gets the same treatment. I'm not aware of Farage ever making any racist comments. But anyone suggesting uncontrolled immigration is bad immediately gets categorised as a racist.

I'm sorry but both those points are bollocks about Corbyn as you well know. In relation to Bin Laden if you look at the entire quote he called it a tragedy upon a tragedy and the whole quote is about the tragedy of a cycle of violence that leads to lots of people losing their lives and includes us assassinating someone rather than trying them. You may disagree with the point about someone being killed rather than tried but he has no need to apologise for that.
And the Hamas point is also bollocks - the quote attributed to him is the sort of language always used at lefty meetings, they call everyone "our friends". He may be guilty of being a twat, I can't stand him, but he has nothing to apologise for except for making Labour more unelectable.
Like I said I don't just defend Labour people for the sake of it - McDonnell's quote is directly supporting IRA terrorists and is indefensible.
But for you to continue the Cameron smearing of Corbyn as a 'terrorist sympathiser' when he is basically a pacifist should be beneath you.
Abbott is just a moron... a lefty equivalent of Letwin.

I would say it is entirely logical that crime is much higher among immigrants, for two reasons.
First, the majority of immigrants are young men. The migrant camp over in Calais for example is entirely composed of men, the vast majority under 30. The waves of migrants we saw over the Summer did have many women and children from Syria but they were outnumbered heavily by young men from Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, sub Saharan Africa and Pakistan.
Most serious crime - and almost all violent crime - is committed by this small demographic group so it would be a minor miracle if the the high density of young men in the migrant population did not lead to a much higher incidence of serious crime too.
Second, the majority of migrants come to the UK with entirely unrealistic expectations of the life that awaits them. They have dreams of owning a house with a garden and having a good job, a car and plenty of money.
Instead they end up on the 20th floor of a run down tower block, six to a room sleeping on the floor, damp on the walls and next door's doberman barking all night. It's cold and wet,not like the warm sunny climate they are used to. They have no money and can't find work other than cleaning toilets or delivering pizzas because they have no skills. They become frustrated and angry,which makes it more likely they will commit crime.
Canada has a very good policy - they only accept vulnerable people as immigrants,which means in practice women,children and elderly. No young men. There is a lot of merit in that, if for no other reason than that fit, able bodied men should damn well stay behind and fight for their country against the robber barons and terrorists from whom they are fleeing. Is that too much to ask?

Apologies - 71,000 was the prison population in 2002 - it is now 85,000 so ethnic minorities (around 10% of population) account for 27% of prisoners...
So. Am I being racist by pointing out that letting any ethnic minorities into UK is not such a brilliant idea when so many resort to serious crime...

That was out of a total prison population of around 71,000 btw so 31% of the prison population are from ethnic minorities...

From the Prison Reform Trust
21,937 prisoners, was from a minority ethnic group. This compares to around one in 10 of the general population.
Out of the British national prison population, 10% are black and 6% are Asian. For black Britons this is significantly higher than the 2.8% of the general population they represent.
Overall black prisoners account for the largest number of minority ethnic prisoners (49%).
At the end of June 2014, 28% of minority ethnic prisoners were foreign nationals.
According to the Equality and Human Rights Commission, there is now greater disproportionality in the number of black people in prisons in the UK than in the United States.
Wow there are some statistics to think about!
